[TAFF] Feerik and I

I've written anything on this blog for over a week, not by laziness, but because he's spent a lot of small events that have come messing up my life lyrics. In fact my great joy to announce that I am now an associate in the company Feerik.

Two months ago, Kahouet which I have already mentioned in the previous message I met Feerik , a company Montpellier Internet gambling. He met entant freelance illustrator and told them about me, then later we met.

Feerik manages a lot of games (see website), including one on which I propose to work, this is the Age of Magic , an adventure / role in which the player slides into the skin of an apprentice magician. My role will be to bring a touch of role play and atmosphere, reviewing texts, quests and restoring color to the game there are a lot of work, and I really hate that it produces tangible results.

[KAMI] Game Overview Part 1

It's been 10 years now although I know Kahouet after a few years lost sight we found by chance to share our common passion for creating games. He developed Avatars, a game with cards (squared) and plateau, and I was developing SHAN, with top and maps, in short we were destined to work together, and coincidentally he lives a few streets away.

short we started to reflect on a game .. Tea and Cards! But a little different from our other projects, thus was born KAMI.

Each player controls a summoner, represented by a map and its own characteristics. In parallel each player has a deck made up of creatures (4 éléménets different, knowing that we made the decks after the Summoner, creatures such as 20 fire, 10 water, 10 ground, 0 air). The creatures will be aligned in Ying and Yang, and will be one of the elements (fire / air / land / water), customized by specific faculties (special skill or ability).

But that's not all each player has 4 hexagonal tiles that will be used to compose the land on which the creatures be invoked. These tiles also have specific characteristics (alignment, element, special ability). These slabs will be arranged depending on the scenario play).

That's the beginning, follow the sequence (not logical? ^ ^)

[Totem] Introduction of card game

Totems is basically a fantasy role-playing Indian, where the player is a member of a tribe of Indians. I never had time (and the will / courage) to write the game, but against the idea of a card game derived rpg trotted me vaguely in the head. Pandy is with that I launched the idea of the game and we quickly laid the groundwork and menarche. This game will be both a management game (build and grow his village), conquest (taking of land) and a little magic (ritual shamans).

Each player has a deck (set) with members of the tribe (with strong theme, such as Huron, Dakota and co), but also creatures (fantasy or wild animals), village maps, etc. ritual card.

The goal of each player is obviously to win, but why there are three ways: Slaying the Sachem (Chief) opponent, finish building the totem of his village or own more than half the land.

I can no more vous en dévoiler pour le moment, mais de se que je peux dire :
- Il n'y aura pas de dés, j'aime pas trop le hasard, n'étant pas très verni aux dés. ^^
- Le système de jeu sera batti autour d'une roue de 5 pierres de couleurs différentes
- Il y aura des mouvements de troupes dans/entre le village et les terrains
- Le jeu n'en est pas encore au prototype, mais il faut pas grand chose, les premières cartes sont en reflexion.

J'ai pour le moment mis de côté Totems de côté, Shan et un jeu commandé me prenant pas mal de temps en ce moment. Mais j'ai espoir de passer ensuite à sa réalisation (si un éditeur passe par là.. enfin je dis ça, je dis rien hein)

Lorsque l'on plonge dans l'univers de la création, on tombe très vite sur d'autres passionnés qui finalement vous ressemblent un peu. Ces affinités et amitiés vous enrichissent et surtout vous améliorent. Lorsque je fais le point sur mon court parcours de créateur, je m'aperçoit que sans certaines personnes je ne serais pas là où j'en suis actuellement. Et je les remercie de leur présence, de leurs conseils, de leurs soutient, de leur critiques et que sais je encore, tout simplement de leur existence.

A Manu/Kahouet avec qui je bosse actuellement sur divers projets (dont je vous parlerais), à Globo a longtime friend who I can count on, Tony / Pandytogo which has a more creative mind than mine bubbling, JF / Icarus who enlightens his point of view of my editor and supports projects to everyone who beta tested my creations and other creators without whom we play are nothing, to my friends or not gamers interested in near and far to what I do,

Management strategy games, I loved and played Imperium consort, but this was not the case. I started creating my own game ideas were relatively good, production, construction, exploration, space battles etc..

But now, it is very hard to create this type of game, then when I looked a little to who was playing games like this one, I had the unpleasant feeling that I'm nowhere near that.

[SHAN] Introduction of the Saga Hero of Ages Black

In March 2007 I launched this project. At the time avid player of Confrontation (c) I wanted to create my own set of miniature, but of course with my desires. I was helped by my friend and Globo SHAN quickly emerged. Mix between a board game, card game and miniatures game.
The principle is quite simple, I wanted a strategic game and especially with a minimal chance (the black spot of many games). So I prefer a system original game rather than the already seen in many other Thurs

SHAN is a hybrid board game / card game, no dice roll is required, besides, there needs to no dice. The game system is based on a reserve of action points used by players to achieve the actions of their figures. The game mechanics are easy to remember, fluid and fun. An average game lasts 45 minutes to an hour (so fast).

Each player has a clan, a group of heroes (currently 4 clans created, Sangnoir, White Guard, and the Buccaneers Nosil) each with its own specificities. The confrontation takes place on a tray of 10 boxes of 10.

universe (yes there is one) is that of land Treas, a role-play was once online, is a med fan who would look for some others, but which in fact is far from be a classic, race novel, a gripping story. I took over the storyline of the game by moving it online, and the Black Age in which the game takes place figurine is 10 years after the events of the game online.
