After the coup of 9 Topalov:
Topalov decided to play defense up by consolidating their pieces the same way that in a Sicilian Scheveningen (n). This gives a slideshow structure that folded pieces protects cells from the center without taking risks .
One drawback, however, appears to Topalov: its crazy are currently blocked by this structure.
Many grandmasters use this structure to obtain a share point in tournaments where they start with the blacks, knowing a tie with a player as strong as Karpov is equivalent to a potential victory when the colors are reversed.
The future of this party say that Topalov was wrong.
But everybody is not Karpov ...
In return, here the game Karpov is much more available for attack .
